Answers about laser marking machine procurement, operation and after-sales support.
Product Selection
What is the difference between fiber and UV laser marking machines?
Fiber laser marking machines (1064nm) are mainly for metals such as stainless steel, aluminum, copper, gold and silver — fast marking speed, high contrast, low cost. UV laser marking machines (355nm) are mainly for non-metals such as plastics, glass and ceramics — "cold marking" with no heat-affected zone, finer detail. If your material is mainly metal, choose fiber; if mainly plastics/glass/electronic components, choose UV.
How to choose the right power?
Fiber laser: 20W for general metal marking and small-batch production; 30W is the most common, suitable for most industrial applications; 50W for deep engraving and high-speed production; 100W for deep engraving on thick metals. UV laser: 3W for fine marking; 5W is the most common; 10W/15W for high-speed production and thicker materials. We recommend telling us your material and production volume so we can suggest the best power.
What is the difference between desktop, split and cabinet types?
Desktop All-in-One: compact, ideal for small workpieces and limited space, plug-and-play. Split Type: laser head separated from main unit, ideal for large workpieces or production line integration, high flexibility. Cabinet Type: integrated cabinet design, good stability, ideal for continuous industrial production, more professional appearance. All three configurations share the same core performance — choose based on your workpiece size and usage scenario.
Sample Testing
Do you offer free sample testing?
Yes. You can send us your samples and we will test them for free and return the samples (freight collect). We can also provide video marking demonstrations. Sample testing typically takes 3-5 business days. We recommend contacting our engineers before sending samples to confirm material and marking requirements.
Can my material be marked?
Our laser marking machines can mark 20+ materials, including metals such as stainless steel, aluminum, copper, gold, silver and titanium; plastics such as ABS, PVC, PC, PE and PP; plus glass, ceramic, leather, wood and crystal. If unsure, send us samples for free testing.
Delivery & Shipping
What is the delivery time?
Standard models: 7-15 business days. Custom models (special color, custom size, OEM): 15-30 business days. Large batch orders: negotiated based on quantity. We will confirm the delivery date in the contract and keep you updated on production progress.
What shipping methods do you support?
We support sea freight (ideal for large batches, low cost), air freight (fast, ideal for medium and small batches), and international express (DHL/FedEx/UPS, ideal for small batches and samples). We have extensive export experience and can help you choose the best shipping method and assist with customs clearance documents. All machines are packed in export-standard wooden crates to ensure safe transport.
Installation & Training
Is installation complicated? Do I need a professional?
Our machines are plug-and-play, no professional installer needed. They are fully tested before shipping. Just connect power and computer, install the software, and you can start marking. We provide detailed installation videos and manuals, plus remote video guidance. Installation typically takes about 30 minutes.
Do you provide training?
We provide free remote training covering machine operation, software use, daily maintenance and common troubleshooting. Training is conducted via video conference at a time convenient for you. After training, we provide training recordings and operation manuals for your reference. On-site training can also be arranged by negotiation.
Warranty & After-Sales
What is the warranty period?
2-year warranty on the laser source, 1-year warranty on the whole machine. During warranty, non-human-damaged components are replaced free of charge. We provide lifetime technical support, and after warranty only charge for component costs. Our machines have an average MTBF of over 50,000 hours, with very low maintenance costs under normal use.
How fast is after-sales response?
We provide 7×24 online technical support. General issues are responded to within 2 hours, with solutions within 24 hours. Common spare parts are in stock and can be shipped within 48 hours. For complex issues, our engineers can remotely access your computer for diagnosis and debugging.
OEM/ODM Customization
Do you offer OEM private labeling?
Yes. We provide OEM private labeling for multiple global laser equipment brands. We can print your brand logo on the machine, use your brand packaging and manuals. We sign strict NDAs and will not disclose your information to third parties. MOQ is negotiated based on model and customization level.
Do you offer ODM custom design?
Yes. We have a professional design and engineering team that can customize machine appearance, structure, configuration and functions to your needs. From concept design to mass production, everything is done in our factory. Customization typically takes 30-60 days, depending on complexity.
